Why should I take care with cigarettes?
No one wants to see your dirty butt! Burying it in the sand doesn’t make it go away.
Please don’t flick off a chair lift, or toss it out your car window either. Hold on to your butts until you can properly dispose in a trashcan.
Cigarette butts tossed onto the beaches and trails release chemicals into the environment and can take at least ten years to degrade.
