Activity Details:
May is a great time to be Water Aware as the weather warms and we see runoff entering Lake Tahoe. Our Rain or Snow activity teaches that climate change is driving more of our precipitation to fall as rain than snow, which can cause more pollutants to enter into our Lake and cloud its clear waters. Want to know more about pollutants in Lake Tahoe?
Check back in HERE on Tuesday, May 26 to conduct this activity with us and learn more about the pollutants that threaten Tahoe’s water quality.
Check out keeptahoeblue.org/activities for more hands-on lessons and activities.
