Description
Join TERC and Keep Tahoe Blue for an Earth Day clean-up along California State Route 89. Help remove litter, protect the watershed, and support efforts to keep Lake Tahoe clean and blue.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome, and supplies will be provided. Connect with local organizations and learn how to stay involved in protecting Tahoe year-round.
Stop and say hi at the TERC booth and discover science-based strategies for gardening in the Tahoe region, explore what grows best in our mountain environment, learn strategies to sustain the Tahoe Basin, and connect with fellow Tahoe gardeners.
This program is part of a three-event High Elevation Gardening Outreach series led by the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC), bringing garden education and plants selected for our locale to community events across the basin.
Featuring leafy greens, tomatoes, potatoes, beans, and peas. Crop availability varies by event and season.
