Wild Tahoe Weekend at Taylor Creek Visitor Center
Posted By: Tahoe Institute for Natural Science
Celebrate birds!!
Once again, the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science are partnering with the Forest Service again for Tahoe’s Wild Weekend!
At this fun and informative family event, folks will learn about bird research happening in the area, go on a bird walk with a local bird expert, and see live birds of prey for the whole event as our falconers will be there all day!
In 2019, the festival will be held on Sunday, June 23th from 10:00-3:00. All of the festival activities are located at Taylor Creek Visitor Center in South Lake Tahoe. Participating agencies include the US Forest Service, Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care, Nevada Department of Wildlife, Tahoe Expedition Academy, Birding Under Nevada Skies, California State Parks and presentations by Falconer Marie Gaspari-Crawford. Please join us for interactive family fun activities!
