How strenuous is this hike?
This is a moderate to difficult out and back 6 mile hike. The hike starts at 7000′ elevation and will have a 1600 foot elevation gain to 8650′.
How do I get there?
From Truckee:
Head west on Hwy. 80 and take the Boreal exit. Turn left and go under the freeway towards Boreal. Turn left on Bunny Hill Rd. Parking area at end of Bunny Hill Rd.
Can I bring my dog on the hike?
No. Pets will not be allowed on any of the group hikes. We kindly ask that you please leave your pets at home. Your canine companion is welcome at every Land Trust property that is currently open to the public. Please visit tdlandtrust.org for recommendations.
