Dive into Lake Tahoe without getting wet at the UC Davis Tahoe Science Center(TM)! Explore interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and a theater experience that reveal the science behind one of the world’s most extraordinary lakes. Create watersheds in the augmented-reality sandbox, step aboard a virtual research vessel, and get an up-close look at Tahoe’s underwater world. Fun and engaging for adults and children ages 8+. The Tahoe Science Center is open Tuesday–Friday for reserved and self-guided tours, plus summer Saturdays (Memorial Day–Labor Day). Closed on observed holidays.
