Gatekeeper’s Museum

The Gatekeeper’s Museum includes an eclectic collection of Tahoe history, including photographic collections, oral histories and transcription, newspapers, court ledgers, maps and written materials, letters, clothing, artifacts, and furniture. Also within the museum is the Steinbach Indian Basket Museum, featuring more than 900 baskets from tribes west of the Rockies, and the Dat So La Lee temporary exhibit featuring baskets from the renowned Washoe weaver.
