Regional Resiliency
We are thrilled to announce the theme for our 25th will be “Regional Resiliency”
‘Resiliency is the capacity to respond to a perturbation or disturbance by resisting damage and recovering quickly’
At this year’s conference, we will collaborate and learn innovative ways to enhance the ecological resiliency of the Sierra in the face of climate change.
Please join us for this lively three day conference event. We are planning a progressive, provocative agenda, with many networking opportunities, and fun to be had throughout!

General tickets will be sold online until August 14th at midnight. Tickets will also be sold at the door during the conference.
Conference Details
The conference begins on Wednesday, August 13th with a restoration event at Prosser Creek. Volunteers are needed to help improve the riparian zone and fish habitat.
Thursday, August 14th starts with talks from several speakers. including Richard Heinburg, a world renowned author on society’s current energy and environmental sustainability. In the afternoon there will be workshops on Sierra Forest Resiliency, Watershed Health, and Managing Space for Wildlife. The day will conclude with a yoga session on the beach
Friday, August 15th begins with the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Program Graduation, followed by workshops on Climate Action Planning, Reclaiming from Gold Rush Impacts, and Transforming Transportation. The conference will conclude with a Farm to Table Dinner
