Alpine Watershed Group will be hosting a training and skills refresher for our water quality monitoring program on Saturday, June 7 in Hope Valley, with special guest Erick Burres from the California Clean Water Team. This is an opportunity for current volunteers to brush up on skills, learn more about river monitoring protocols, and ask questions on sampling methods and data analysis. Those interested in becoming a volunteer river monitor are welcome to join and become trained in our protocols and sampling procedure. The event will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the West Fork Carson River downstream of the 4th crossing bridge in Hope Valley (38.772197, -119.934328).
