This program will introduce kids age 12-14 to the innumerable joys of backpacking as the group navigates through some of the most scenic terrain in the Tahoe Basin. All food, gear, permits, and transportation to and from trailheads is provided by the TRTA – all you need to provide are clothes, sturdy athletic shoes, and your passion for the outdoors!
