More Information:

Join The Sugar Pine Foundation and Lake Tahoe Community College for a fun and educational morning planting trees in the Emerald Fire burned area. Sugar pines are declining due to historic logging, altered fire regimes, an invasive fungus called white pine blister rust, and climate change. You can make a difference by helping plant pine seedlings and restore the burned area with a diverse tree species.

We will meet at the Emerald Fire pullout off of Highway 89 across from Cascade Road in South Lake Tahoe.
