Wildflower Walk
Join a wildflower expert for a leisurely two hour walk around Spooner Lake to learn about plant names, uses, habitats and to enjoy their beauty. Spooner Lake is home to over 100 different species of wildflowers. Park entrance fees are waived for event attendees. Pets are not recommended and any children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Plan on dressing for the weather and be prepared for a two hour walk. Please bring sturdy shoes or boots, a hat, water, snacks, sunscreen and insect repellent. Group size is limited to 12 participants; therefore, signups are required.
