Science Presentation

Understanding the structure of arguments about climate change patterns helps us engage those who disagree with us more productively. In this interactive
presentation, Lynda Walsh, a rhetoric professor from the University of Nevada, Reno, will introduce some basic but powerful principles of argumentation theory that will prepare participants not only to understand and debate climate change more effectively but also to locate common ground with those who initially appear to be opponents on this issue.
