Beers, Brats, and Airbags: Avalanche Safety Presentation

Join the Sierra Avalanche Center for a presentation about avalanche safety hosted at Granite Chief Ski & Mountain Shop in Truckee at 6:30pm. Enjoy a beer and brats and brush up on snow safety while playing in the backcountry. The presentation includes how to navigate the SAC avalanche forecasting website and what to know before you go. Being prepared is not only important for your safety, but the safety of others around you. This local's favorite is also a fundraiser for SAC. There will be some great raffle prizes donated by local outdoor and ski reps. Raffle tickets are available at the door, no registration is required.
