Panelists:

Michelle Parker

Michelle Parker got her start as a ski racer at her home resort of Squaw Valley, California. By age 15, she realized her passion was freeskiing, not racing. She competed in slopestyle and halfpipe at the US Open and X Games for a few years, but eventually she decided to switch gears from the park to big mountain terrain. She signed up for a mountain guide training program in Haines, Alaska, and started taking her tricks to the backcountry. Michelle, now one of the ski industry’s most versatile female skiers, has appeared in over a dozen ski films and in 2013, she won Best Female Performance at the Powder Video Awards and at the International Freeski Film Festival for her segment in Matchstick Productions’ Superheroes of Stoke. Michelle is now giving back to the ski industry that’s given her so much: she’s on the board of the High Fives Foundation, which helps injured athletes and she helped launch a women’s avalanche safety clinic.

Amie Engerbretson

Amie is a professional skier, producer and host. The seed of passion for skiing and adventure was planted on the slopes of Squaw Valley and has grown into a lifestyle and career of creating content to share those passions with the world. Amie spent her first day on snow at 10 months old and has been skiing for the camera (and for fun!) ever since. Following in the footsteps of her former pro skier father, Jeff Engerbretson, Amie developed a unique set of skills and deep knowledge of the mountains. Skiing in Warren Miller Entertainment films, being featured in numerous print outlets, video projects and hosting her own podcast, “Long Underwear,” keep her busy and engaged through all the seasons. From skiing to mountain biking to paddle boarding and playing in any way possible among beautiful mountains, Amie’s warm personality, infectious smile, and passion for exploration are present on her many adventures.

Jeremy Jones

As an award-winning snowboarder, environmentalist and entrepreneur, Jeremy Jones is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished action sports athletes of all time. Jeremy grew up in the United States’ New England area and started his snowboard career as a racer. He switched his focus to freeriding in 1998 taking his race trained snowboard skills to the steeps of Alaska and beyond. Two decades of bold first descents and standard-setting backcountry snowboarding explorations around the world earned Jeremy eleven ’Big Mountain Rider Of Year’ awards from Snowboarder Magazine and a 2013 ’Adventurer Of The Year’ nomination from National Geographic.

Connery Lundin

Connery grew up skiing in Squaw Valley, California. In 2010 Connery switched gears from ski racing to big mountain, his true passion in skiing. Since then he has traveled the globe, winning the Freeskiing World Tour and filming segments with MSP, Powder Magazine and more.
